It is a time of exploration and discovery
Its objective is to produce as many ideas as
possible It is a way to manage fear of writing
It is a combination of strategies to help you
organize ideas
Pre-writing Includes:
Thinking about your purpose:
Entertain, inform, persuade, express
Gathering information:
Find facts, talk to people
Choosing a form:
Description: to describe someone or something,
Narrative: to tell a story
Compare & contrast,: tell similarities and differences Expository:
