LOCAL MATERIALS AND


TECHNIQUES
Objectives:
In this module, you will excitedly go over the following:

1. Explore your own place/locality for rich resources which can be


used as medium;
2. Evaluate & decide what medium/ material to be used; and
3. Present your proposed material and artwork and justify why you
chose them.
In the previous modules, you have learned the different art
forms, local materials and the various techniques used to create
contemporary art.
Now, focusing on your region or your very own community, let us
discover what local materials are potential mediums and what are
the possible art works it can be made of.
