Imagej Plug in - Radiography System Simulator

The ImageJ plugin simulates x-ray and neutron radiography by modeling the field of view, area of homogeneity, and image quality given collimator setup parameters. It requires downloading ImageJ and the plugin file. The plugin is opened through the ImageJ menu and allows simulating the imaging system and sample. Input parameters configure the detector, beam, and acquisition properties. The plugin outputs a radiograph, line profile analysis, and simulation results to analyze image quality for different collimator geometries. An exercise measures the area of homogeneity and image sharpness for varying collimator L/D ratios.

Using the radiography simulator:
1. Calculate/measure the area of homogeneity of different L/D provided in the excel spreadsheet: AUNIRA_exercise3
2. Measure the maximum gray value from the line profile results
3. Normalize the maximum gray value
4. Compare the results (eg plots) and decide with configuration provide the optimal (larger area of homogeneity, high
maximum flux) field of view (FOV)
5. Using the box sample, measure the unsharpness for different L/D (where possible) provided in the excel spreadsheet
