Key Activities- 18th September - Clubs and Committees
During September Students are in dilemma after facing the midterm exam, about how they will manage the studies with
other activities. Apart from this, the selection of clubs and committees get started this month.
Purpose: The AIS for clubs and committee experience will provide guidance to the students about how clubs and
committees benefitted them. As this series will be on Clubs and committees students will be able to have open discussions
with alumni about their experiences
Having guidance from experienced alumni will also help students to understand the importance of extracurricular activities.
Eg: E-Cell, Finopsis, Arthanya Capital
Depending on the availability of Alumina 2 or 3 we can create a collaborative alumina meet where more experience and
perspective can be shared with the students from different clubs and committees they have been part of.

● The Session will Include:

● Experience from clubs
● How these committee’s helped them to progress in their career
● MBA journey

An interactive session where students can ask various questions regarding how the clubs have evolved and what has
changed in the clubs over time.
Key Activities - 16th October - SIP
As the interview process begins and CVs get customized, the students are filled with doubts and stress on how to crack a
decent SIP. Many students wish to know the perspective of the recruiter and what expectations he/she needs to fulfil.

The AIS can, therefore, consist of a distinguished HR alum who can guide the students about the real-world scenario of the
recruitment process. This session will benefit each and every student as they eagerly wait and hope to get a SIP. The alum
can speak on topics like -
● Essentials required in a CV for it to get through ATS
● Communicative skills needed in a GD or PI
● Methods to customise our interview preparation for different companies
● Understanding the thought process and requirements of a recruiter.
● Unnecessary pressure and stress that the students undergo hampers their mental health.
Key Activities - 20th November - Corporate Competitions
One of the most important part of every B-school student journey is Corporate Competitions. They not only provide a
learning opportunity to the students but also a chance to grab the most sought after internships there are. It is very
important that students know how to approach the case at hand. Interpreting the case correctly, thinking in the right
direction, proposing feasible solutions and making a stellar presentation are a few things that students struggle with while
working on corporate competitions.

The AIS can, therefore, consist of alumni who have won several case competitions who can guide the students about how
to approach the competition and win it. This session will benefit each and every student as they keep participating in
various competitions throughout the year. The alum can take up a case study and help students understand the way they
interpret the case and how to go about solving it.
Key Activities- 18th December & 15th January -
Domain Specialization
By the time December arrives, students need to be sure about the specialization they wish to pursue in their second year.
Many students have inhibitions about the field they should opt for and are confused between the two areas. Students also
want more practical knowledge about their specialization.

Purpose: The AIS will be more engaging and fruitful when the alumni targets that audience that actually wants to pursue a
career in the same field or wants to know more about it. These two months will focus on clear market introduction and
reality about careers in these domains.
A specialized/customized approach where we first understand and shortlist groups of students having an interest in one
area of specialization. Eg - Marketing or Consulting.

Conducting 2 sessions,1 alum each where they can guide the students with real-life experiences.
An interactive session where the alumni will talk about-
● The real market scenario of that sector.
● Explain their journey in the field.
● Mistakes made by them that the students can prevent in their future.
The students can engage on a more personal level and alumni can even provide customized answers to the doubts of the
students as they both have an interest in the same field.
Key Activities - 12th February - Entrepreneurship

entrepreneurship. Doing an entrepreneurship interaction we can collaborate with E-cell. This will also provide a motivation
