• Views display sets of geographic data (called
themes) as interactive maps
• Views allow the user to display, explore, query
and analyze geographic data in ArcView.

 Find the most direct path between two points
 Finding the optimum route between many
points
 Finding the closest facility
 Drive time analysis
Spatial Analyst
 Adds raster modeling functionality to ArcView
 Covert line, point and polygon themes to
raster themes (grids)
 Create contour, slope, and aspect maps and
hillshades of these surfaces
3D Analyst
 Enables users to create, analyze, and
display surface data
