Buddhism
• Buddha was born in 560 B.C
• Father was Suddhodhan , King of Sakya republic
• Mother was Mayadevi, died after seven days of his
birth
• Married at early age with Yosodhara and they had
son Rahul
• Horrified sights 1. Old man 2. A diseased person
3. Dead body 4. An Ascetic
• 6 years of meditation led to the discovery of truth
and Gautama became Buddha i.e. the enlightened
one.
