Project Summary

◦ Oplan Bisita Eskwela – I Am Strong or Oplan “BES”


started in 2018 through the initiative of DPCR and in
partnership with the PMFTC, Inc. And Jaime V
Ongpin Foundation, Inc. (JVOFI).

◦ Purposely to generate stronger community partnership


and sustain the crime prevention efforts and bring
positive public perception towards the PNP.

◦ It also aims to shape and influence the students to be


“STRONG” (Smart, Talented, Responsible, Obedient,
Nice, God-fearing)
Project Summary

◦ Part of Project ViBES is gift giving to selected


pupils provided by the PMFTC, Inc. and JVOFI.

◦ Such gifts/tokens will be delivered by our PNP


personnel in the residence of the chosen pupil/s
through house to house visitation
PROs, NCRPO and PCADG Tasks:

i. Implement this project through PROs/ CPOs/ PPOs / CPS/


MPS;

ii.Establish linkages with different private and public schools


in its respective AORs to encourage their active support to
PNP programs and activities; and

iii.Submit 3-5 minutes crime prevention tips and info


campaign video clips against all forms of child abuse,
exploitation, discrimination, cruelty and other child’s rights
to PCADG with email address at [email protected]

PROs, NCRPO and PCADG Tasks:

PCADG

i. Serve as the lead operating unit in the implementation of


Project ViBES;

ii. Establish linkages with different schools for the soft opening
of the Project ViBES in Metro Manila and other provinces as
necessary to encourage their active support to PNP
programs and activities;

iii.Provide IEC materials for distribution;

iv.Coordinate with DPCR for the school supplies, hygiene kits,


and other items for distribution to school children; and
PROs, NCRPO and PCADG Tasks:

PCADG

i. Consolidate and provide Video Clips suitable for grade school


students to be cascaded in different schools virtually by all
RCADDs with topics to include but not limited to the following:
 
 RA 11313 Safe Spaces Act “Anti-Bastos Law”;
 RA 7610 Special Protection of Children Against Child
 Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act;
 RA 9208 Anti-Trafficking in persons Act of 2003;
 Art 336 Act of Lasciviousness;
 Ra 8353 Anti Rape Law;
 Ra 9775 Anti Child Pornography Act of 2009;
 RA 10627 Anti-Bullying Act of 2013;
 RA 11188 Special Protection of Children in Situation of
Armed Conflict and
 Other topics related to child protection laws.
Coordinating Instructions:
a) The Project ViBES presentation is limited to 10-15 minutes
presentation;

b) The Hygiene/Anti-Covid Kits/token for children will be provided by


Jaime V. Ongpin Foundation, Inc. However, any other sponsors willing
to participate in our advocacy programs and activities are welcome;

c) Close coordination with concerned school heads/principals is highly


encouraged;

d) PCR personnel shall observe “Tamang-Bihis” in conducting PCR


activities at all times; and

e) Submit Periodic Reports to DPCR (Attn: FJGADD) for monitoring


and evaluation.

Project Name:

◦ Women, Peace and Security (WPS)


Project “JUANA”
Project Summary

◦ Pursuant to RA 9710, otherwise known as the


Magna Carta of Women, and in fulfillment of
the government’s commitment to uphold
women, peace, and security through the
implementation of the National Action Plan on
Women, Peace and Security (NAPWPS)
activities in conflict-affected/post-conflict
areas.
Project Summary

◦ This shall be known as Project “Juana”;

◦ It is about Organizing and Mobilizing the


women sector; and

◦ This project also provides support mechanism


to vulnerable women who need to be
empowered towards a purpose driven lives.
Project Objectives

◦ This aims to provide immediate and sustained


protection from violence against women and
girls affected and displaced by and vulnerable
to different forms of conflict (i.e. vertical and
horizontal), exploitation, discrimination and
abuses.
Project Details

◦ A team of 5 (male and female) police officers will


conduct Ugnayan sa Barangay with women sector as
an identified vulnerable group who may be members
of the Indigenous People (IPs), solo parents, migrant
workers, fisherfolks, small farmers, factory workers,
gender-based victims etc.

◦ Topics such as but not limited to Safe Spaces Act,


Anti-Violence Against Women, Sexual Harassment,
Anti-Insurgency Program of the Government and
other livelihood projects in partnership with TESDA
and other non-government organizations.
