INTRODUCTION & HISTORY
Banswara Syntex Limited (BSL) is a vertically integrated textile
mill manufacturing man-made synthetic blended Yarn, wool
and wool mixed yarn, all type of Fabrics, JacquardFurnishing
Fabrics, besides production of Readymade
Garments and Made-up's.
Banswara Syntex Limited was incorporated in the year 1976.
While incorporation it was a joint sector company with RIICO
Ltd. (A Govt. of Rajasthan Undertaking) and Mr. R.L.Toshniwal.
In 1982 Mr.Toshniwal purchased the shares from RIICO.
Presently it is a Public Limited Company, the promoters holding
is 59.44% of Equity Share Capital.
Company Management
Mr. Ravi Toshniwal, aged 46 years, is the Jt. Managing Director of the
Company.
Mr. Rakesh Mehra, aged 52 years, is the Whole-Time Director of the
Company.
Mr. Shaleen Toshniwal, aged 32 years, is the Whole-time Director of
the company.

to anticipate & exceed customer satisfaction by
understanding customer's need and expectation and thus,
ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Banswara Syntex Limited entered into Joint Venture with a French Company Carreman
France. As per the Joint Venture Agreement both Banswara Syntex Limited and Carreman
Hold 50:50 equity share capital on the company. Carreman Fabrics India Ltd. was
incorporated in 17 Feb'2006. This company has state of art weaving plant having 60 brand
new Picanol Rapier Looms. This company is being managed by the French technicians.
It does job weaving work for Banswara Syntex Limited. The total fabric production during
the year 2008-09 was 62.35 lacs meters as against 50.78 lacs meters in the year 2007-08. It
is a profit making company. Its total paid up capital is Rs. 1420 lacs.
Manufacturing units..
RAW MATERIALS
Spinning:
The major raw materials used by the company are Viscose Staple Fibre, Polyester Staple Fibre, Acrylic
Staple Fibre, Cotton, Wool, Linen and Lycra. Viscose Staple Fibre is purchased from Grasim Industries
Ltd., Nagda, Polyester Staple Fibre is sourced from Reliance Industries Ltd., Acrylic Staple Fibre is
procured from IAL and Pasupati Acrylon Ltd. Cotton, being a seasonal crop, is procured from various
centers in the country during the harvest season. Wool we are importing mainly from Australia. Lycra is
not available in the domestic market, it is imported from DuPont, Singapore.
Weaving:
For weaving fabric, the company is mostly using the yarn manufactured in-house. However, it also
procure yarn for specific requirement from open market.
Processing:
7 Stenters and supporting Dying and finishing capacity of 150,000 Meters/day. It is processing own fabric
as well as doing the fabric processing on job work basis for others.
Garmenting:
For garmenting also, the company is using the fabrics manufactured at its own weaving finishing
division.
