Cause is the reason why something
happens.
*It is the first thing that happens.
* because signals the cause
* What was done?
Example:
Because it had been a long, busy day,
Zoey did not have the time to eat.
Cause: It had been a long, busy day
(what happened first)
Effect: Zoey did not have time to eat
(what happened first)
Key word: because
Sanhi Ito ay ang tawag sa dahilan
kung bakit nangyari ang isang
pangyayari.
Mga Hudyat na nagpapahayag ng
sanhi: - Sapagkat, - Dahil/Dahil
sa/Dahilan sa, - Palibhasa, -Ngunit at
- Kasi
Halimbawa:
Hindi nagkakasakit si Juan dahil mahilig siyang
kumain ng mga masusustansiyang pagkain.
Sanhi: mahilig siyang kumain ng mga
masusustansiyang pagkain (ano ang unang nangyari)
Bunga: Hindi nagkakasakit si Juan. (ano ang sumunod na nangyari)

Effect is what happens next as a
result.

Example:

wore their jackets, gloves, and hats to
keep them warm.
Cause: It started to snow (what happened first)
Effect: Jack and Allison wore their
jackets, gloves, and hats (what happened second)

Bunga Ito ay ang tawag sa resulta o
epekto ng isang pangyayari. Mga
Hudyat na nagpapahayag ng bunga: -
Kaya/Kaya naman,
-Kung/Kung kaya, -Bunga nito at
-Tuloy
Halimbawa:
Si Angelito ay mahilig mag-ipon ng pera
kaya nakabili siya ng bagong kotse.
Sanhi: Si Angelito ay mahilig mag-ipon ng
pera (ano ang unang nangyari)
Bunga: kaya nakabili siya ng bagong kotse. (ano
ang sumunod na nangyari)
