Who we are?

Childhood Enhancement through Training and Action (CHETNA) is an


Indian NGO established on 8th March 2002, with a commitment to
work on the empowerment of street and working children through
education, life-skills, protection cover etc., with a special focus on
the girl child. During this span of 12 long years CHETNA’s action
extends from Delhi to Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Haryana
state and has been emerged as a credible organization of national
repute.

CHETNA has developed a participatory

What you can do?
1st option – Take care of a child informally

1. You may be a support to a child


2. Visit us and identify one child
whom you would like to support
3. You will get all information
about the child from our data
base
4. Visit once in a week and spend
at least an hour with the child
5. Help the child ventilate and
share all concerns with you

2nd option – Be a street coordinator
