Division of Work
 The segregating of work according to their area of
skills into the workforce between the worker will
improve the productivity of product.
It improves the productivity, efficiency, accuracy, and
speed of the workers.
Example:- In this university every professor has
allocated their work according to their skills and area of
interest.
Kamal sir is best in economies that’s why he teach this
subject.
Authority and Responsibility
 For effective work in the organization it’s
essential to gave authority and
responsibilities.
 Given one them create huge deficiencies.
 Example:- Security officer have authority to
check student vehicles and gate pass due to
they have responsibility of security of every
person who enter into the university.
Discipline
 Without discipline, nothing can be
accomplished.
 Good performance and sensible interrelation
make the job easy and smooth.
 Example:- The admin department behave well
when everyone go to them for inquires.
 Also they communicate in polite way.
Unity of Command
 An employee should have only one boss and
follow their instructions.
 If there are more than one boss it’s create
conflict and effect on decorum.
 Example:- Our event coordinator is Sayyeda
ma’am. She has power of taking decision and
gave command to the others. And everyone
have respect and follow their decision.
Unity of Direction
 All the person who join in the organization have
a goal and motive.
 It will help in make the work easier and achieve
the set goal easily.
 Example:- Our M.B.A professor have a goal to
give a practical knowledge to the student.
 So the Jenish sir given report work to us and
every faculty member guided to us according to
their area of specialization.
Subordinate of Individual Interest

 An employee should work united towards the


goal and interest of a company rather than their
individual goal.
 This refers to the whole chain of command in a
company.
 Example:- The university have main goal to
provide practical knowledge to every student.
 Every month Jenish sir will have plan industrial
visit for us.
Remuneration
 This is one of the motivating factor for employee.
 Remuneration can be monetary or nonmonetary.
 Example:- In the annual function professor will
be awarded for their best performance and
qualities.
 Also students will also awarded for their best
academic performance.
Centralization
 Centralization means all the decision making
power given to top management level.
 This depends on size of the organization.
 Example:-
Scalar Chain
 This principle highlights that the hierarchy steps
should be from the top to the lowest.
 It’s essential for employee to know their
designation.
 Example :- In the class any student have
problems or suggestion regarding any event they
contact to CR/LR.
 The CR/LR further contact the teachers and try to
solve problems.
Order
 A organization should maintain a well defined
work order to have a favorable work culture.
 The positive atmosphere in the workplace will
boost more positive productivity
 Example:- In the transport department all work
done according to order.
 Likewise, exact time to peak up student, their
safety, dropping time, and waiting period for the
student.
Equity
 All employee should be treated and consider
equally and respectfully.
 Manager have responsibilities that no
employees face discrimination.
 Example:- Every teacher treated students
equally and teach.
 Also the same position faculty treated equal
by the coordinator.
Stability
 If employee want to secure their job, they
must have delivers their best.
 It is the duty of the management to offer job
security to their employees.
 Example:- The students were complaining
towards French language teaching sir.
 He don’t maintain his performance level that’s
why he had to resigning from his job.
Initiative
 The management should support and encourage
the employees to take initiatives in an
organizations.
 It helps them to increase their interest and make
them worth.
 For this organization also arranging training
program.
 Example:- For industrial visit Jenish sir listens
everyone’s idea and then decide the industry.
Espirt de Corps
 Espirt de Corps means team work.
 The management have responsibilities to
motivate their employee and be supportive of
each other regularly.
 Example:- For project work we listen every
group member ideas and then walks towards
the goal.
