FARMART

Agriculture is the backbone of the economic system of a given country. In addition


to providing food and raw material, agriculture also provides employment
opportunities to a very large percentage of the population. Without food, the world
would slowly die, and farmers work hard every day to keep plenty of crops and
animal products in the market to keep that from happening.
 
In our project “Farmart” we are here to help farmers in selling their products
especially fruits and vegetables to the consumers through a website.
 

 
Problem Statement

 
• The farmer's products are bought by the middle men for cheaper rate and
those products are sold for higher price to the consumer, it leads to less profit or no
profit at all to the farmer who works hard to produce the food products.

• It also affects consumer to pay more and buy those products because of
the involvement of the middlemen in this process..Moreover one must move out of
their house to buy fruits and vegetables might not be possible in every time, as
some kind of problems like pandemic situations or even like strike people can’t go
out to buy their needs.
PURPOSE

EXISTING SYSTEM

• Helps in difficult situations such as pandemic or any kind of bundh.

CONCLUSION

Technology has made significant progress over the years to provide


consumers a better Farmart experience and will continue to do so for years to
come.  With the rapid growth of products and brands, people have speculated that
Farmart will overtake in-store shopping.  While this has been the case in some
areas, there is still demand for brick and mortar stores in market areas where the
consumer feels more comfortable seeing and touching the product being bought. 
However, the availability of online shopping has produced a more educated
consumer that can shop around with relative ease without having to spend a large
amount of time.  In exchange, online shopping has opened up doors to many small
retailers that would never be in business if they had to incur the high cost of
owning a brick and mortar store.  At the end, it has been a win-win situation for
both consumer and sellers.
FUTURE ENHANCEMENTS
 

In the future we are going to add online payment like debit and credit as
well as PayPal payment gateway for better development. We will provide better
services for the farmers as well as for customers.
Well I and my team member have worked hard in order to
present an improved website better than the existing one’s regarding the
information about the various activities. Still, we found out that the project can be
done in a better way.
The enhancement that we can add is the building an app on
farmart option. We can directly search to the particular student details from this
site.
