APOSTLES’
CREED
I believe in God, the Father
Almighty, Creator of heaven
and earth; And in Jesus Christ,
His only Son, our Lord;
Who was conceived
by the Holy Spirit,
Born of the Virgin Mary,
Suffered under Pontius Pilate,
Was crucified, died,
and was buried.
He descended into hell.
The third day he rose again
from the dead.
He ascended into Heaven,
And is seated at the right hand
of God, the Father Almighty;
From there he shall come
to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,

The First Sorrowful Mystery
AGONY IN THE GARDEN

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive

us our trespasses, as we forgive those who
trespass against us; and lead us not into
temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Holy Queen
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy,
our life, our sweetness and our hope!
To you do we cry, poor banished
children of Eve. To you do we send up
our sighs, mourning and weeping in
this valley of tears!
Turn, then, O most gracious
Advocate, your eyes of mercy toward
us, and after this, our exile, show
unto us the blessed fruit of your
womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O
sweet Virgin Mary.
Leader : Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.
All: That we may be made worthy

of the promises of Christ.
Let us Pray. O God, whose only-begotten Son, by
His life, death and resurrection, has purchased for
us the rewards of eternal life, grant, we beseech
Thee, that meditating on these mysteries of the
most holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we
may imitate what they contain, and obtain what
they promise, through the same Christ our Lord.
Amen.
Reflection:
Within the dazzling light, Maximin and Melanie
gradually perceived a woman, seated, her elbows
resting on her knees and her face buried in her
hands.
In the light of God’s plan, Mary appears at La
Salette revealing her deepest desire for her people
— PEACE. Peace that comes from knowing God
and allowing God to be the God of our lives. Her
tears speak of the sentiments of her heart and
that of her Son Jesus. Mary is deeply aware of
God’s vision of PEACE—an experience of total well-
being— yet aware too, that her people are from
seeing this vision… so the tears.
Gospel - Luke 19:14
When Jesus had come in sight of the City, he
wept over it and said, “If only today, you knew
the ways of peace! But now your eyes are held in
seeing.”
Silence
Prayer: Queen of radiant light, you appeared in
search for us, your children. In the ‘new normal”
besetting the world these days, make us
instruments of God’s peace as we reach out to
those affected by the pandemic. Let the light of
hope shine in our midst.
