Quality is how the recipient of the product/
service views it. For e.g. If it is a product; before
buying, upon delivery, after delivery - USE.
NEW AGE OF QUALITY
• Quality is conformance to requirements/ specs.
• Quality is keeping the promise made when an
order is placed, or a commitment is made.
• Quality means the service is free of deficits.
• Quality is superiority to competitors, & to the
services offered by the company itself in the past.
NEW AGE OF QUALITY
• Quality is SATISFYING THE CUSTOMER.
• Quality is EXCEEDING THE CUSTOMER
EXPECTATION.
• Quality is WHATEVER THE CUSTOMER
SAYS IT IS.
HOW DO WE MANAGE QUALITY?

QUALITY IS MANAGED BY ISO 9001:2015.

WHAT IS ISO?
A set of quality standards governing the
documentation requirement of a system.

IMPORTANCE OF COMMUNICATION & ITS EFFECTIVENESS AT P4I.
Instructions can be communicated either Verbally / Non- verbally, Formally / Informally
Can be through MEMO, Manuals, Reports, Policies, Meetings, Discussions, Notice Boards
EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION: Means receiver transforms the information into correct output.
Ways for effective communication:

• All information sent to each department is clear & understandable.

• All ambiguity must be removed.

• Written work instructions must be easy to read & relevant information easy to extract.

• Work practices & procedures must be clear, simple, available & understood at all levels. [SOP,
QUALITY MANUAL]

• Job descriptions & Responsibilities must be clear, available & understood.
