Inbound Logistics
These activities of Sunteck Corp. are associated with receiving, storing and
disseminating the inputs of the products. It can include material handling,
warehousing of physical products, as well as architecture to receive and
store customer information for digital media company. Sunteck Corp at
present has outsourced most of its inbound logistics activities.
Outbound Logistics
Sunteck undertakes these activities to distribute the finished products to
channel partners and final buyers. Outbound logistics activities include –
wholesalers and retailers order fulfillment, distribution network, scheduling,
processing, and warehousing
Marketing & Sales
These activities are undertaken by Sunteck Corp to create means through
which the buyer can buy their products. These activities include – pricing,
advertising and promotion, sales force management, marketing, channel
selection etc.
Supporting Activities
Firm infrastructure support activities at Sunteck Corp consists activities
such as – finance and accounting, legal services, general management,
planning and quality management. It supports entire value chain though
the scope varies given that Sunteck Corp is a diversified company even within the industry.
HRM support activities include – Recruiting, People Planning, Hiring, Training & Development, Selection, Skill Assessment and Compensation at both business unit level and corporate level.
Technology development at Sunteck may include activities such as - process engineering, technology selection, feature design, component design, and field-testing.
Procurement activities at Sunteck include activities that are undertaken to purchase inputs used in the value chain. Purchased inputs may include - raw materials, supplies, machinery, laboratory equipment, office
equipment, and buildings. Procurement also employs technology for things such as – procedures, vendor management, information system, and supply chain partner qualification rules.
