PROGRAM OUTCOMES:
o Design, implement and evaluate a Developmentally Appropriate Early
Childhood curriculum that advances all areas of children’s learning and
development including social, emotional, intellectual and physical
competence.

o Design developmentally-appropriate strategies that address the unique


needs of young learners.
 
o Develop instructional materials that are culturally-relevant and
developmentally-appropriate for young learners.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES
o Design and implement assessment tools that promote effective
instruction and learning of young learners.
o Effectively communicate in English, Filipino, and Mother Tongue during
Instruction, Assessment and Evaluation.
o Practice the ethical and professional standards of the Early Childhood
Practitioner in teaching young children and communicating all
stakeholders.
o Establish relationships among family and community in integrating
knowledge of cultural diversity in any learning environment settings.

o Conduct ECCE-related researches aim towards the improvement of Early
Childhood Practices.

CHILDREN’S LITERATURE
o The course focuses on the importance of children’s
literature for promoting lifelong love of reading among the
young learners and its use as springboard for developing
literacy skills. Strategies and approaches for using
children’s literature in the classroom will be discussed.
