PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS/STRANDS:
3.4. Learners in difficult circumstances
3
ANNOTATION:
Yes, modules are essential and informative by all means, however, not all
can easily cope with the traditional reading-learning process during this struggling
times. Grade 1 pupils are playful in nature. They also get destructed easily
whenever they feel uncomfortable. Parents find it hard to bring back their interests
and stressful learning triggers their mood swings.
As seen in my DLP, I inserted a video clip to somehow help them enjoy
and get motivated to learn the lesson. This video is about fairness and equality. It
contained scenes and dialogues that are kids friendly that shows awareness on
the importance of every individuals and all other God’s creation. The video clip is
aligned to the learning competency indicated in my DLP. It became a bridge to
easily understand and appreciate not just the lesson alone but, everything around
us.

PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS/STRANDS:
4.1. Planning and management of teaching and learning process
5
6
ANNOTATION:
Our Daily Lesson Plan is said to be the most essential thing that a teacher
must bear at all times. The success of the learning-process depends on the careful
planning of the teacher concerned. Proper planning, management of teaching and
clear execution of the lesson will lead to a certain, positive and favourable outcome
on the part of our dear pupils and fulfilment of the teacher.
The DLP I presented has complete parts. I make it sure that the content
are specific, measurable, attainable, result-oriented and has time frame (SMART).
It is vital to fully catch learner’s attention right from the start until the last part of the
process (motivation to evaluation) to achieve the target. Some activities were
adjusted intentionally to help other leaners as well to meet the level their
understanding.

PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS/STRANDS:
4.2. Learning outcomes aligned with learning competencies
8
ANNOTATION:
The activities indicated in the DLP and as shown in the
picture, clearly emphasized that the outcomes and learning objective is
aligned.
Providing relevant and congruent activities to the
competency like what I did can surely assess the mastery of the lesson.
There will be great chances of achieve what we aspire. It is very important as
well to consider the individual differences of the learners. Whatever scores
they got, do matter. There’s nothing wrong of adjusting the activities as long
as competency/objective is obtained.

based on the objective of the lesson, found in MELCs. The selection and
organization of the exercises are best suited the the learning ability of the pupils. 10
NAME OF ARTIFACTS: Teacher-made/modified learning resources
PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS/STRANDS:
4.5. Teaching and learning resources including ICT
11
ANNOTATION:
Teacher-made learning resources like informative video lessons, colourful
powerpoint presentation, catchy reading materials and activity sheets are some of the
most efficient and in-demand supplementary materials to cater the needs and interest
of the learners.
Preparing all these, need so much patience, eagerness and dedication. All
my sacrifices and hardships in providing it, paid off - the smiles and interest of every
child to learn is really a heart warming and overwhelming.
The competency of resources/materials I provided/made are all MELC
based. The PPT contained letter identication and picture association; Video lessons
tackled Kasarian ng Pangngalan and Kabutihang-asal; and Activity sheets contained
Comprehension Questions based on the story they have read.
I also adjusted some parts to simplify and made it not too complicated
and still aligned with the learning objectives.

These certificates provided me the opportunity to continuously
develop my whole being. Attending and being one of the Resource Speakers, this
kind of session with colleagues, combined with interesting and interactive topics

professionally. It also motivated me to perform wholeheartedly and bring out the
best in me for the welfare of the learners, that hope for in reaching their dreams.
The topics behind these are as follows: Stress Management in
the New Normal, Gender and Development and Guidelines on the implementation
of Homeroom Guidance (HG) During Crisis Situation for S.Y 2020-2021.
These LAC sessions, though not part of my PD, still significantly

NAME OF ARTIFACTS: Reflective Summary
PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS/STRANDS:
7.4- Professional reflection and learning to improve practice
Initially, as LDM were introduced, different insights, perspective, unfavourable
comments did arise. Taking all what I heard really had negative impact that leads to stress and
pressure. Moreover, I, personally, don’t have any single knowledge about the course content. I thought
it’s an additional load of burden, way back then.
But, through consistent prayers and motivation from leaders, I learned to appreciate
and move forward to embrace the learning process. I find it interesting and informative as we go along.
What made me more comfortable was the interaction from colleagues and changing of ideas to make
everything light and easy. I also realized how vital and necessary this course is, for the success of
education in this trying times. It helped the teachers improved personally and professionally. It serves
as a pathway to meet the needs, assess the strengths and weaknesses, and discover talents and
skills even more.
Though pandemic ruined everything, we must stand still to win the battle. Education
must continue. No reason of giving up because the future depends on us.
From the bottom of my heart, my deepest gratitude to the department for providing
all the teachers what we need and for consistently sustaining our growth.
