How to design a lesson plan
a. Know the students.

A. Core Competence: 
1. Appreciating and practicing the devotion of their
religion.

behaviors (honesty, discipline, responsibility, care,
good manner, curiosity, confidence, tolerance,
intrinsic motivation, healthy life style, and
environmental friendly) in social interaction
effectively and naturally within the students’
communicative environment.
B. Basic Competence and Indicators

1.1. Expressing sincere gratitude to the God for the opportunity can
learn English as a language of International communication
instruction embodied in the spirit of learning.

2.1. Indicating well-mannered and caring behavior in conducting


interpersonal communication between the student and teacher and
his/her friends.

conducting transactional communication between teacher and
his/her friends.

C. Learning Purposes/ Objective
After studying this Chapter, students are expected to:
1. Using English in communicating about
congratulating others with their teachers and
their friends.
2. Showing polite behavior, care, and confidence in
implementing the communication of identity
exposure.
D.  Learning Materials
1.    Pre-reading Activity
• The teacher will divide the class into some groups that
one group consist of four students. Each member is given
a number (from one to the maximum number in each
group). Then the teacher call out one number in every
group randomly to read the whole text in front of their
friends while the others will get the text which some
vocabularies are blanks, so they have to fill the blanks.
2.     Reading Activity
• After all groups finished fill the blanks correctly, now they
have to read the text carefully and answer the questions.

text. All members are taking a note of the dicussion result. 10

Teacher calls the name of a student (one by one) to  
answer the questions, and asks other students to  
correct his/her mistakes as well as to give the right 10
answers if he/she can not answer the qustions minutes
correctly.

Commenting  
   
Teacher invites one of the student as a volunteer to 10
exposure his/her self identity in front of the minutes
classroom.
