Why are administrative skills important?
• Administrative skills are important because they keep business/organization processes running smoothly. Any
successful, efficient organization should have both administrative professionals who have strong skills in this area,

skills required for administrative tasks may vary from business to business (such as proficiency with specific
software or platforms), there are several soft or “interpersonal” skills common among people with strong

leader. Many supervisors have a combination of soft and hard skills that make it possible
for them to do their job well. Their soft skills include interpersonal skills that help them
