Term Paper Overview
 ‘Term Paper' is a review paper written by students during the
summer break. They are generally intended to conduct in-
depth analysis of any organization.
 The objective of a term paper is to increase the knowledge and
understanding of students about the organization. Which
includes understanding the operating industry,
products/services, competitors, financial analysis, operational
details, HR practices and unique marketing tactics and
practices.
Course Objectives:
• “Term paper” writing has its objective in the increase of
knowledge and the understanding of a particular phenomenon.
• To appraise and explain a situation by focusing attention on
latent attributes that may not surface in class-room
discussions.
• To demonstrate the ability to devise, select and use a range of
methodologies and tools to the chosen/given project,
• applying the theoretical knowledge to a real life situation.
• Formulate a report through self-exploration, practical
experience, journals etc.
Structure
• Term paper should be composed of the following sections:
• Every Term Paper report shall have three parts:
• The Preliminary Pages,
• The Main Text,
• Reference material.

The Main text includes:

Formatting
• All reports should be printed double-spaced, Times
New Roman and 12 Font size, justified.
• Report should be at-least of 20-25 pages, including
preliminary pages and References.
• Students are expected to write in clear, grammatical
sentences and check spellings.
Page Layout and Margins
• A4 Size
• Portrait
• The text of the document must be justified.
• The left and right margin will be set at 1.25”.
The top and bottom margin will be set at 1”.
• Page number bottom of the page in center.
Language of the Report
• The language should be English.
• The Report should demonstrate effective
communication skills. It is the responsibility of
the student that the Term paper demonstrates
clarity, correctness and organization.
