Cross-Border E-Commerce in Nepal

Cross-border e-commerce refers to international business transactions conducted over e-commerce platforms. In Nepal, cross-border e-commerce is developing well in major cities like Kathmandu, Pokhara, Dharan, Birgunj, and Biratnagar. While domestic e-commerce has grown over the past two decades in Nepal, cross-border e-commerce is still nascent due to issues like limited internet access outside major cities and lack of international payment options. However, shipping companies and business agencies are helping to develop and facilitate cross-border e-commerce in Nepal.
