Background of the Subject/Company
• The Department of Information and Communications
Technology launched the Government Network and
Government Cloud  to make the delivery of government
services to the people faster, secured and efficient.

• The servers, storage devices, networking equipment and


software found in the cloud help improve government
processes and delivery of services to the people. The
government also saves money this way because services are
shared by agencies 
The GovCloud currently offers GovMail, PhPay,  PMGov, Agency
Service Registry and web hosting service to government agencies.
The following applications and common services will also be
hosted on the Cloud in the near future:

Recommendation/s

 Managing employees in the cloud will require governments to reinvent


human resource management.
 Bandwidth should be arranged to the needs of the cloud computing
system before working with cloud computing system
 All of the applications, databases and hardware in cloud computing
system should be worked properly with multicenter structure instead of
centralized structure.
 Data should be categorized as public, secret, top secret etc. before
uploading cloud computing system. Secret or top secret data must be
received or sent in encryption

 
Conclusions

•The GovCloud provide a complete cloud solution,


allowing the DICT to enact the changes made for the
development of faster transaction in every government
Agencies in partnership with private institution.
•This adds credibility to government employees and
increased confidence and peace of mind for citizens dealing
with them.
• The GovCloud is expected to provide Forms Generator which
would allow citizens to access and submit various fillable
government forms. All these ICT-enabled frontline services will
make the government more accessible to citizens and
businesses. Once all agencies are integrated under the system,
face-to-face interactions would also be minimized, and reduce
the chances for graft and corruption
