PURPOSE
• Report is a kind of text which presents
information about something. It is as a result
systematic observation and analysis.
• Description
Describing the thing which will be discussed in detail, part per
part. other than the principal sentence is the sentence
explanatory. explanatory sentence serves to explain the basic
sentence.
characteristics
• describe something as it is, with respect to
natural phenomena, man-made, and social
life in our society.
• explanation can be based on research
reports, observation, investigation, and
presented in a systematic, scientific, or form
of analysis.
• use the present tense form, but if that
explained something already extinct usually
use past tense forms.
Language Features
• Present tense
Birds breath with their air pocket. Beside as respiration organ, air pocket also
can enlarge or reduce their weight when flying or swimming.
There are many kinds of birds. Earth bird has special characteristic. They
have different morphology according to their food and their habitat. Some of
them eat seeds, pollen, fish or meat. There are some species that live in land
and the others live in water. Land birds live on their nest.
Female birds have specific tasks. they lay eggs and feed their baby, Beside
that they look for foods for their baby.

TRAIN
A train is a connected series of vehicles for rail transport that move along a track
(permanent way) to transport freight or passengers from one place to another. The track
usually consists of two rails, but might also be a monorail.
Trains have a connection the amount of variety. and of course, pulled by a locomotive as
the train heads. The fuel of railway also depending on the species. The train was driven by
the masinis. train ticket prices are usually cheaper, and therefore many people who use the
train as their transportation tools. Especially in Japan.
There are various types of train designed for particular purposes. There are freight
trains to transport goods, steam train, which uses steam power, public passenger trains,
intercity trains, modern high-speed train, monorail, electric trains, and much more.
