• We use either BB Collaborate via eLearn or MS Teams for online meetings. Please check
announcements on eLearn regularly for latest update.
APPLIED STATISTICS
ONLINE TEACHING (LECTURE / TUTORIAL)
• Lecture:
– Pre-recorded videos will be made available via eLearn on Thursdays.
– Please view the video lectures before the next scheduled tutorial class. Have a copy of the
lecture notes with you for reference.
– Consultation during timetabled lecture hour: Tuesdays 2pm-3pm via BB Collaborate.
• Tutorials
– Please attempt the tutorial questions before joining the online tutorial meeting.
– Online tutorial meeting via BB Collaborate or MS Teams live sessions. Please join the
online tutorial meeting according to your tutorial/practical group’s timetable for optimum
“class size”.

• Practicals:
– Instructions to access the SAS Enterprise Guide software on your PC will be made
available.
– Further updates will be provided, depending on students’ accessibility to the software.
INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN

quizzes via eLearn according to recommended timeline.
– Attendance for lecture is marked based on quiz attempt.
– If you have questions on the lecture content, post by replying to the relevant
thread on eLearn Discussion Board or join the consultation live session.
• [Live Session - Consultation] Join the meeting on Tuesdays 2pm-3pm via
BB Collaborate if you have any questions to clarify.
