QUALIFICATION STANDARDS FOR MASTER TEACHER I


EDUCATION: BACHELOR'S DEGREE FOR TEACHERS OR EQUIVALENT AS
PROVIDED IN MAGNA CARTA FOR TEACHERS

EXPERIENCE: TEACHER FOR AT LEAST THREE (3) YEARS

EDUCATION: BACHELOR'S DEGREE FOR TEACHERS OR EQUIVALENT A
PROVIDED IN MAGNA CARTA FOR TEACHERS
PLUS COMPLETION OF ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS FOR M.A.
EXPERIENCE: MASTER TEACHER I FOR AT LEAST ONE YEAR OR TEACHER III
FOR AT LEAST 4 YEARS

CRITERION A (20 points) with CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION SCORE:

A. Introduced any of the following which has been adopted or used by the school or  

  district..  

CURRICULUM or INSTRUCTIONAL Materials (Modules, Self-learning kits, Task


A.1 Title:
analysis
  of Objectives, Criterion-Reference Tests) which are original, not merely compilation,  

  and are used by teachers in the School or District.  

A.1.a With a certification issued by proper authorities (Division level)

  as to the actual usage thereof in at least 50% of the districts in the division merits 20
points
  With a certification issued by proper authorities (District level)
 
  as to the actual usage thereof in at least 50% of the schools in the district merits 18
points
  With a certification issued by proper authorities (School level)

  as to the actual usage thereof in the schools in the district merits 15 points

INCOME GENERATING PROJECT (IGP) must possess overall quality. The following

  A project proposal/feasibility study (for the IGP) must have been submitted to the  
  District Office(Elem) / School (Sec) and indorsed to the Division Office c/o the  
Income Generating Project Committee (PRINCIPAL, PSDS, EPS-TLE, ASDS-In-Charge
   
and
  SDS)  
A.2.a An IGP with documentary evidence/proof of its impact on the family and/or  
  community where the pupil/student/s belongs and has been conducted and  
  completed for at least a year at the time of evaluation of documents (to substantiate  
  its impact), merits 20 points.  
A.2.b An IGP which proves to bear an impact but has been conducted and completed for at  
least 6 months merits 18 points, 4 months merits 16 points, 2 months merits 12
   
points.
A.2.c An IGP still on-going merits 10 points  
A.2.d An IGP barely started (within a month) merits 6 points  
A.2.e A Feasibility Study duly submitted with Approved Permit to conduct merits 4 points

CRITERION B (12 points)  

B.1 SUBJECT COORDINATORSHIP/s or GRADE CHAIRMANSHIP/s for at least one (1) year Details:

  must be supported by:

B.1.a A Designation issued by proper authorities (Principal, noted by PSDS);

B.1.b A Workplan / action plan duly approved by the respective school head;

B.1.c A Accomplishment Report as to the quality & quantity of achievements, and which

 
  report must be counter checked against the said workplan/action plan.

- 100% of workplan accomplished merits 12 points;

- 75% of accomplishment merits 9 points;

- 50% of accomplishment merits 6 points;

- 25% of accomplishment merits 3 points;

B.2. ADVISORSHIP/s of any SPECIAL ORGANIZATION/s, CLUBS as enumerated in the Details:

  criterion, must be for a minimum of two (2) years and must likewise be supported by:  

B.2.a a designation issued by proper authorities;  

B.2.b a workplan / action plan duly approved by the schoolhead;  

B.2.c A Accomplishment Report as to the quality & quantity of achievements, and which  

  report must be counter checked against the said workplan/action plan.  

  100% of workplan accomplished merits 12 points;  

  75% of accomplishment merits 9 points;  

  50% of accomplishment merits 6 points;  

  25% of accomplishment merits 3 points;

CRITERION C (12 points) Details:

Served as CHAIRMAN OF SPECIAL COMMITTEE, such as curriculum study committee,

committee to prepare instructional materials.

   

C.1 With proper designation as chairman, duly approved school program, program
 
  completed and with certification by proper authorities as to its completeness = 12 points

C.3 With the program still on-going merits 10 points;

C.4 With duly approved request/program (not commenced), to merit 4 points;

C.5 With merely the designation, to merit 2 points.

CRITERION D (12 points) with CERTIFICATE OF


COMPLETION Details:

Initiated or headed an EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH activity duly approved by educational


 

authorities, either for improvement or instruction, for community development, or teaching


 

welfare. Must be aimed at improvement at improving instruction, for community


 
development or teaching welfare.  
A duly approved Research Proposal, with the tools of research to be used = 3 points;(Division
D.1
level)  
A duly approved Research Proposal, with the tools of research to be used = 2 points;(District
 
level)  

  A duly approved Research Proposal, with the tools of research to be used = 1 point;(School level)
 

D.2 A research commenced and with a Report on the Study Conducted merits 6 points;(Division level)
 

  A research commenced and with a Report on the Study Conducted merits 5 points;(District level)
 

  A research commenced and with a Report on the Study Conducted merits 4 points;(School level)
 
D.3 A research defended orally merits 9 points;  
D.4 A research with a Completion Certificate issued by proper authorities merits 12 points.

CRITERION E (12 points) with CERTIFICATE OF


COMPLETION Details:
Coordinator of COMMUNITY PROJECT or ACTIVITY or a PROGRAM ANOTHER AGENCY or  
COORDINATOR OF RURAL SERVICE IMPROVEMENT activity in a community such feeding,

nutrition, agro-industrial fairs, etc for at least two (2) years.


 

When the project/ program/ activity is supported by a


- documented plan of action
E.1 - a duly accomplished attendance of participants
- proof/s of such project/ activity/ program
12 points
 
E.2 When the project/ program/ activity lacks any one (1) factor form the above-  
  mentioned, 9 points;  
E.3 When the project/ program/ activity lacks any two (2) factors, 6 points;

CRITERION F (12 points) Title:

Organized / managed an IN-SERVICE ACTIVITY or other similar activities at least on the

school level:

F.1 Designation from proper authorities (Principal);

F.2 An approved permit to conduct from proper authorities (Principal);

F.3 Participants to the In-set training must be Teachers, or Identified Clientele (for ALS);
 
F.4 The training matrix, and outputs with evaluation and feedback/s as proof.

- Activity in the Division/Congressional level merits 12 points;

- Activity in the District Level merits 9 points;

  Activity in the School Level merits 6 points;

- Activity in the Department (Secondary)/School merits 6 points.

CRITERION G (10 points) Level:
G.1 TRAINORS OF/ COACH to contestants who received prizes, COMMENDATIONS or any
  form or RECOGNITION
G.2 ATHLETIC COACH of athletes who won prizes
G.3 COORDINATOR OF BOY SCOUT / GIRL SCOUTS  
  National Winners: 1st Place = 10 points
  2nd Place = 9 points
  3rd Place = 8 points
  4th Place = 7 points  
  5th Place to 10th Place = 6 points
  Regional Winners: 1st Place = 5 points 4th Place = 2points
  2nd Place = 4 points 5th Place = 1 point
  3rd Place = 3 points
  Division Winners: 1st Place = 3 points
  2nd Place = 2.75 points
  3rd Place = 2.5 points
  District Winners: 1st Place = 2 points
  2nd Place = 1.75 points
  3rd Place = 1.5 points
  School Winners: 1st Place = 1 points
  2nd Place = .75 point
  3rd Place = .50 point
  Service Merit Awards from BSP/GSP (of the candidate himself) will be credited:
  Jade = 1 points
  Gold = .75 point
  Silver = .5 point
  Bronze = .25 point

CRITERION H (10 points) Title:


AUTHORSHIP ( 10 Points for a BOOK and 1 point for each article provided;  
PROVIDED they are on EDUCATION  
Sole Authorship = 10 points; Co-Authorship = 5 points; Article = 1 point each article

DEMONSTRATION TEACHING:  
  For MT 1 , School Level and For MT 2, District Level

  Master Teacher 1 School = 5 points Master Teacher 2 School = 0 points
