CREATING FORMS

What is a form

 A form is a graphical representation of a


table. It allows you to create a more
aesthetically pleasing display for data
entry. You can add, update and delete
records from the table using the form
How to create a form

1 In the database window, click on the forms tab


2 Double click the on Create Form Using wizard
3 Select the table you want to use to create the
form
4 Select the fields you want to view on you form
 Click on the double arrow to select all fields
from the specified table
 Select a single field and click the single arrow
 To deselect a field or fields, click the field and
click the single arrow to the left, or click the
double arrow to the left to deselect all fields.

5 Click next and select the layout you would


like for you form
6 Click Next and select the style for your
form
7 Click next and enter a title or accept the
default title for your form
 Click Finish.

Modifying the design of the form


 Open the form in design view
 If the form is already open select design
from the view menu
 The various objects in the design
window can be adjusted
