I: Living in the
1: Advantages:
city:
There are certainly some universal observations and benefits of living
in the city. What makes city living so exciting and convenient? Here
are just a few common reasons:
Shopping is one of the benefits of living in the city because it presents a
range of options. You can find anything you need in the shopping mall,
grocery stores, etc…
Big city is a place of high living standard. You can live in a good
condition with modern facilities and social services such as health care,
education and entertainment.

An excellent benefit of living in the city is the large amount of education,
career, and volunteer opportunities available. Whether you’re trying to
earn a bachelor’s degree, graduate degree, seeking full-time
employment in your field, or just looking for somewhere to lend a
helping hand in your free time – city life presents a chance to learn,
grow, develop, and serve in whatever manner you wish.
2. Disanvantages:
Although life in the city is convenient and modern, there are still a few
disadvantages. These drawbacks really affect not only the environment
but also the people living here. So, what are they ?
Firstly, one of the most common problems in densely populated cities is traffic
congestion. This usually happens during the peak hours of the day, especially from 6
a.m to 8 a.m. and 5 p.m to 7 p.m. As a result, more and more greenhouse gases such as:
CO2,SO2,etc will be produced. Therefore, the environment is seriously polluted and the
air becomes hotter and hotter, that leads to climate change all over the world –
greenhouse effects.
Secondly, an issue seemed the most serious demerit in big cities is waste pollutants.
The reason is that people aren’t conscious and throw garbage incriminatedly.
Consequently, not only the surroundings are contaminated but also the city views are
deteriorating. In addition, rubbish produces toxic and chemical gases that cause
dangerous diseases doing harm to both human and animals.
Finally, the downside that occurs in urban areas is class crimination. Class
crimination means that the rich take control of the city and live luxuriously, whereas
the poor are low-class and don’t have anything. Correspondingly, the society is not
equall anymore, that’s cause of strikes and demonstrations.
II.Living in the country side:
• 1.Advantages:
Living in the country side certainly have many of its own benefit that
big city cannot have and here are some examples of such benefits:
The first and most obvious is space. Compare to the cramped city where space
is a luxury. you can have an endless field of your own possesion. You can
stretch your view as far as you want not affected by buldings and factories
The second benefit is less polution. Unlike the city where dusty air is except as an unfortunate part of your
life or the sound of cars and honk filled the air. In the country side all you will ever breath in will be
refreshing air filled with the smell of grass and the only sound you hear is the playful childern and grass
brush together in the windy space. This will not only improve your health but also make you more relax.
Last but not least is the peaceful nature of the country side unlike the city where every day you
will hear in the new about some bank heist, robery, murder and so on but in the country side you
dont have to worry about any of that since the population is so little and live so far a part that
opportunity for crime is less to none
2. Disanvantages:
So every coin has it two sides, here are some disadvantages when
you live in the countryside:
Roads networks are usually in poor condition because there is not so much
investment in upgrade roads, paths in countryside are so narrow and have a lot of
holes, it can interrupt you when you are driving and damage your vehicles.
Public transports are hopeless: You can not expect to catch a bus or book your uber in
the countryside. Although there are some improvements, public transports are not very
popular and available in most part of the countryside.
There are not many shops: Imagines you forgot to fill up your gas and you are in the
middle of nowhere, you are done. Finding shops, gas stations, supermarket in the
countryside is very complicate, people there mainly rely on local shops which are less in
quantity.
There are not many educational facilities: Students there hard to access to higher
education due to the lack of infrastructure and tutors. They might still can be a
very intelligent student but if they want to go to college they have to go to the
urban areas.
