Procedure Text

This document provides examples of two types of procedure texts: recipes and manuals. Recipes contain a goal, list of ingredients, and set of instructions to make something through a series of sequenced steps using simple present tense, action verbs, and conjunctions. Manuals also outline a series of steps using similar language to describe how to operate or do something. Both procedure text types aim to clearly explain a process through a structured format.
