use of this promotional tool.

The company has seen an average occupancy of around 35-40%
over the last 3 years.

The company is not sure if the same is very good since there are no
competitors with a similar product and at the same time are also
aware that the original plan was for 80-90% level. There could have
been a lower rate due to the economic slowdown and resultant cut
in spending by customers.

Since a revival is seen in the market they would like to undertake a


Research understanding customer preferences for such products
and the opportunities for the company in terms of growth over the
next 3 years.

Industries Ltd, ventured into the eyewear segment in March 2007. The
move was an initiative to re-define the industry and straddle the

growth and is finding it very difficult to increase footfalls in its stores in
India.
