Introduction
•Garment selling Shop has also a service point, for providing the all types of the Cloths.

also deals with Maintaining records of different garments of women like Salwar

Kameez, Designer Sarees, Western Wears, Night Wears, Indian Ethnic Wears.

•The garment shop operation :

•Maintaining Garment Details.

•Maintaining Customer Details.

•Maintaining Supplier Details.

•Billing and Report Generation.


Need for the system
• All activities are done manual because there is no computerized system to
simplify their work.

• Managing a garment shop is most difficult task. Due to lots of variety/brands


and launching of new types of cloths , the flow of item list is increasing every
day.

• In traditional manual system, its almost impossible to remember each and


every item with its specification, price etc. In the traditional old fashioned
business style, owners are not aware of their actual stock value, availability of
certain items, true sales analysis and most importantly actual business
progress report.
Need for the system

• Automated Reordering and In-Stock Information

• Shop owner focus on main business processes

• Reduction of customer service time through the


use of efficient program processes
• Providing quick access to garment information
Problem Definition

• The purpose of this system to reduce manual


work of stock maintain process like purchase,
sell so garment shop owner can focus on
business only.
Users Requirement
– Purchase order (shop owner purchase bulk item from supplier)
• Add purchase order
• Remove purchase order
• Update purchase order
– Stock details
• Add stock details (types of cloth , quantity, size, purchase rate , sell rate,MRP)
• Update stock
• Delete stock
– Bill on purchase by customer
• System will generate bill for customer
– Stock Report ( Available cloth at shop and sell by shop owner)
• Monthly stock report
• Yearly stock report
– Purchase Report (Total purchase from supplier)
• Monthly purchase report
• Yearly purchase report
Proposed work
• The proposed system is develop to help the shop owner to overcome the great

problems caused by the usage of manual system to manage the stock.

• In this system the storekeeper will no longer use the stock-book which usually

causes the problem of mismanagement but he/she will use the computerized

system that has a manageable database to record all information about the garment

items.

• In this computerized system, the storekeeper registers the purchased cloths , the

enrolled employees and suppliers. He/she also records from the stock to the

workstation and the customer who takes them.


Proposed work
• Main facilities available in this project are:

• Maintaining records of different garments of women like Salwar Kameez,

Designer Sarees, Western Wears, Night Wears, Indian Ethnic Wears.

• Providing billing details .

• Maintaining backups of data as per user requirements.

• Shop owner can offer the discounts on garments.

• Provide appropriate bill for the customer after their purchase.
