DESCRIPTION OF THE OBSERVATION CLASS

- Video showing a teacher of 4th grade at one of the schools.


- She applied some techniques to improve quality for students
- Students also applied some techniques in order to make this class successful
RATE BASED ON DANIELSON FRAMEWORK
DOMAIN 1
• Learning activities
– By showing them a video and then asking some questions

DOMAIN 2
• Management of classroom behavior
– By knowing their groups before starting class from previous lesson
– By reviewing the expectations and procedures
– Attached a paper showing the classroom discussion guidleines
• Interaction of students with the other students was good
– Examples of what they do:
• Student leaders call for attention, please stand for neutral position
• They repeat after leaders words such as “ I agree to control my voice, I agree to control my
body”
RATE BASED ON DANIELSON FRAMEWORK
DOMAIN 3
• Monitoring of student learning
– She redirect students when she notice that they are not following her directions
• Feedback to student
– Teacher ask students to make observations about the different uniforms they see students wearing
• Student participation
– She gave students think time about the topic of school uniforms
• Use of oral and written language
– When she made a quick lesson on persuasive and explained it as persuade.

– Annotate the learning target
CONCLUSION

In this video , we can see a well managed classroom with some beautiful techniques .
On the other hand students in this age you should get their attention in some way and that what I
didn’t see.
Regarding the Danielson framework , she applied domain2 & 3 very good, but didn’t show us
domain 1 and 4 in a good way.
