INTRODUCTION

India
A kaleidoscope of traditions, culture, and vibrant geographies, India
speaks for itself as a soul-stirring journey. Snow covered peaks of
Himalayas to stretch of coastline, natural greenery to depths of
spirituality and clusters of cultural shades. All of these aspects join
together to define the raw beauty through which India captures the
heart of everyone.

The path to healing and enlightenment leads to India

The essence, roots and everything healing is about, lies deep within
India. Practiced in the form of Ayurveda, Yoga, and meditation, all these
forms bring out the best in you. While Ayurveda, the system of
medicine has been bestowed from Gods to Sages to human physicians
for over 5000 years now. Kerala, Goa, Uttarakhand, Udaipur, Karnataka
run in the influence of Ayurveda.

Yoga originated in Ancient India, and with just a little practice of the
postures helps you bring a lot of positive changes in your body. Come
down to Rishikesh, the Yoga Capital of the World and a spot holder of
UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. Bihar, Goa, Karnataka,
Uttarakhand, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar
Pradesh are just the right place to practice Yoga.

On the other hand, meditation enlightens the mind and paves a way for
the person into a more stable and calm state. Bengaluru , Pondicherry,
Kerala, Pune, Chennai, Rishikesh, Delhi are a haven for
mediators.

Yoga and meditation holiday packages in India are for the ones who
want to unlock the secrets of ancient Indian wellness.

• Colour
• Sound
The relation between human senses (sight, sound, smell, touch) and the
built, focusing on environs that could please these senses.
METHODOLOGY(Need)

The design approach for my further thesis project shall be through

phenomenology,
following the theme of Rejuvenation through Architecture, where the
focus shall be to promote through architecture, the concept of
rejuvenation ("holistic wellness") among the human of today's
metropolitan culture.

To design an environment that should create a rejuvenating effect to its

users is the focus of the study. It is thus, an experience necessarily to be
provided to humans of the metropolitan cities today

(Phenomenology demonstrated in architecture is the manipulation of

space, material, and light and shadow to create a memorable encounter
through an impact on the human senses)
