     I met Hary. Hary had just returned. (Two simple
    sentences)
     I met Hary who had just returned.

     I have found the pen. I had lost the pen.


     I have found the pen which I had lost.

     Here is the book. You lent me the book.


     Here is the book which you lent me.
    More example sentences
     The man is honest. The man is trusted.
     The man who is honest is trusted.

     He is content. He is rich.
     He who is content is rich.

     This is the house. The house belongs to my uncle.


     This is the house what belongs to my uncle.
    Join the two sentences together by
    using relative pronouns.
     1. I know a man. The man has been to England.
     2. The thief stole the watch. The thief was
    punished.
    The thief who stole the watch was punished.
     3. Show the road. The road leads to Yangon.
     4. Here is the doctor. The doctor cured me malaria.
     5. I met a boy. He was cruel.
    Join the two sentences together by
    using relative pronouns.
     1. I have found the umbrella. I lost it yesterday.
     2. I saw a soldier. He had lost an arm.
     3. Coal is found in India. It is a very useful metal.
     4. Here is the book. You were asking for the book.
     5. The horse was lame. We saw the horse.
    Split the following into two sentences.
     Bring me the book that is on the table.

     The boy who fell off his bike has hurt his leg.

    Join the sentences again.

    Complete the text with relative
