A. RESEARCH PRESENTATION -Oral
QUALIFIED RESEARCH PROJECT SHOULD:
1. Have been completed within the last five years, but not have
been featured in previous fora.
2. Provide solution to priority problems/challenges identified in
the learning area
3. Be technically and ethically sound
4. Provide new ideas/knowledge leading to policies and action
plans
5. Have relevant contribution to teaching , learning assessment
and instructional supervision in Araling Panlipunan
B. RESEARCH PAPER
The Abstract shall consist of 250-300 words.The major
aspect of the entire paper in a prescribed sequence shall
include the following:

1. The over all purpose of the study and the research


problem(s) investigated
2. The basic design of the study
3. Major findings or trends found as a result of analysis
4. Brief summary of interpretations and conclusions

A. RESEARCH ( 25 % )
-Does the paper contain enough information
to back its ideas?
-Are there enough sources of information?
-Are the sources reliable? Are they current?
-Are they varied and balanced, especially on
controversial issues?
-When appropriate, has the paper used
different types of sources such as books,
journals, newspapers, interviews or the
internet.
CLEAR FOCUS ( 20 %)
Is the topic Clear?
Is it relevant to the conference theme?
Is it clearly introduced at the beginning of the
paper?
Are the body of the paper and its conclusion
clearly related to the topic?
REASONING AND ORGANIZATION (25%)

Are the key concepts, defined and presented in a


clear way?
Does the paper argument follow a logical
outline?
Are the parts of the paper coherent?
Are they logically connected?
DOCUMENTATION ( 15 % )

Is the paper free from grammatical,


spelling, and typing errors?

Are the sentences short, clear, and free of


unnecessary jargon?
Poster Exhibit Contest
• -Researches should be aligned with the key elements of
the K-12 Basic Education Curriculum

• -Initial review will be done by regional office and identified


technical experts ( Content and Methodology Experts)

• - Final review and evaluation of all qualified regional


entries will be facilitated both by the regional office and
research experts.
-The poster presentation should include the following
identifying information:

Name/Title of Research/Project and


Office/School Address

-The researches should cite reasons why such project


was developed or conducted and their potential
benefits in terms of their impact to teaching and
learning, assessment and instructional supervision.
Presenters are advised to use vertical poster
lay-out at 48x36 inches size
