Duties and Obligations
1. Manager  Supervise over-all operation of pharmacy
 Ensure a safe, secure and legal work environment
 Responsible in financial management
2. Pharmacist  Assist the manager in terms legal documents of pharmacy
 Receive and file prescription orders
 Promote the rational use of drugs and ensure the provision of safe,
effective and quality drugs for improved patient care and quality of
life
 Supervise the pharmacy assistant in dispensing and counseling
patient/client
 Reconstitute or mixed suspensions and other powder form with liquid
 Order out of stocks supplies
 Receive and check the delivery of pharmaceutical company
3. Pharmacy Assistant  Dispenses prescription medication and other products to patients
under supervision of pharmacist
 Takes inventory of supplies on hand and record the result
 Counts pills, labels bottles, prices, and compounds medications to
prepare prescriptions for patients as directed
 Maintain the cleanliness of working environment
 Monitor the expiration of supplies and record it

I. Arrange the drugs in sequential positioning along Storage Conditions Temperature

Pricing
I. Always observe and follow the price of regulated
drugs by the government.
Example: Maintenance medicine for hypertensive
drugs like Amlodipine ( Norvatrol 10mg)
ll. Give only 2.75 percent marked-up for branded
drugs.
Example: Mebendazole 50mg/ ml 10ml ( Antiox ).
So that we can give 2 percent discounts for
PDWD and senior citizen.
lll. Give only 22.75 percent marked-up for semi-
generic drugs.
Example: Products of Reta drugs like
Simvastatin 10mg tab.( Vastanyx )
lll. Give only 25 percent marked-up for generic
drugs. Example: Omprazole(Omepron).
