• Chase (v) = follow in order to catch


The police chased the thief down the street.
• Chase away (v) = to make someone move
The police chased away the protestors using tear gas.
• Loiter (v) = wait or spend a long time in place without purpose until it
becomes suspicious.

• Possible = actions that can be done, prediction

• True synonyms are words that have exactly the same meaning,
so the are interchangeable.
