INDRODUCTION

This study of research works provided a general info, knowledge and opinion
of grade
11 BLACKWELL students in cause and effect of social media addicted in
student learning for today generation social media addicted cant affect for
the learning and
participation of students in class hours being addicted in social media can
give for
the students failing grades in the classes .
networks create many opportunities and threats for students in various fields. Addiction to
social networking and its impact on students’ academic performance caused the researcher to
design and conduct this study. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship
between social networking addiction and academic performance of students in grade 11 BLACKWELL
in GOLDEN STATE COLLEGE .
Reduced academic performance is one of the most important
consequences of social networking overuse
for students. The results of a study on medical students showed that students who used social
 
networks and internet more than average had a poor academic achievement and low level of
concentration in the classroom

Others are more popular due to the number of “friends” or “followers” they have
Seeing pictures of a group of friends that you consider yourself to be close to but you weren’t invited
to join them.

Seeing pictures of happy people enjoying their lives, which creates sadness and jealousy because your
life doesn’t seem as grand
Lack of “likes” to your post, resulting in feelings of disappointment and decreased self-esteem

Statement of the problem
 
The purpose of this study is to determine what are the cause and effect of social media
addicted in

learning of grade 11 blackwell students in golden state college .


 Specifically, it sought answer to the following

1.What is the cause and effect of over using social media for grade 11 BLACKWELL
students ?
 
2. is there mental health and school issue for grade 11 BLACKWELL students for over
using social media if yes explain it ?
 
3.what are the social demographic profile of the respondents of the study?
OBJECTIVE

To be able to Analyse the cause and effect of social media


addicted for grade 11 blackwell students.
  
2 to determine the cause and effect of over using of social
media in the learning of the grade 11 BLACKWELL students .
 
 3.to be able disseminate what social media addicted can effect
to the grades of the students.

Hypothesis
 

H1 The grade 11 BLACKWELL has been addicted in social media and it can
affect for their learning at school.
 

H2 the grade 11 BLACKWELL has not been addicted in social media it con not
affect for their study at school.
 
SCOPE AND DELIMITATION
 
This study is delimited to determine whether the student cause and effect of the

High school students this research was conducted to see and prove what willl be the

social media this study will be dealing with the problem of the students being addicted
in social media
this considered the students personal information in over using social media.
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
 
The result of this study will be great benefits for the following :

To the students to know what are the cause and effect of being addicted in social media especially for
there study at school .
To the teachers to help the students to stop addicted in social media and it will add to there performance
a good performance at school it is easy to the teacher teach their students.
 
To the school to help what happen to the students being addict in social media
 To the parents to be guide their children to stop addicted in social media and help
the students to become great person.
 Fellow researcher it will provide as another idea for their future research.

 As words may mean differently in different context the following definition are gives
as the wordsUsed intended to be understood for the purpose of this study .

their learning at school is bad for their future

not participate properly because the media are been there life every day.
they are using it until there study are being destroy some of students for being addicted in
social media are going cutting classes being late at school or can cause there absent in
school.

Boulevard General Santos City in Region XII.

The respondents of this study will be grade 11 blackwell senior high school students
from golden state college a private and nonsectarian educational institution located
along pedro acharon boulevard general santos city in region xII
RESEACRCH RESPONDENTS
The respondents of this study will be Grade 11 blackwell Senior high students form
golden state college.
RespondentsWill answer questions from the questionnaires prepared andWill be
distributed by the research to them.
Date will be collected from this respondents and will be treated as primary data and
will be Analyse and presented in the next chapter of this study.
 RESEARCH INSTRUMENT

To gather information needed the researcher used a survey Question to obtain the
required data the survey questionnaire Could be answered by yes or no that best
described the cause and effect of the social media addicted of the respondents. The
survey questionnaire will be validated by 3 experts
