The key takeaways are that environmental awareness and conservation are important to protect wildlife, habitats and the planet. Issues like pollution, climate change, habitat loss and more are threatening the environment.

Some of the main threats discussed are habitat loss, climate change, pollution, and loss of biodiversity.

Some conservation practices mentioned are habitat management, mass education, captive breeding, and rehabilitation.

ENVIRONMENT CLIMATE CHANGE

Climate change is caused by humans. Scientists have concluded that most of
the observed warming is very likely due to the burning of coal, oil, and gas.
This conclusion is based on a detailed understanding of the atmospheric
greenhouse effect and how human activities have been changing it. At the
same time, other reasonable explanations, most notably changes in the sun,
have been ruled out.

POLLUTION
There are many non-point source pollutants—coming from many diffuse
sources—that are still regularly released into the environment. These

PROTECTING SPECIES UNDER THE THREAT
OF EXTINCTION
There are few places left on the planet where the impact of people has not
been felt. We have explored and left our footprint on nearly every corner
of the globe. As our population and needs grow, we are leaving less and
less room for wildlife. Wildlife are under threat from many different kinds
of human activities, from directly destroying habitat to spreading invasive
species and disease. Most ecosystems are facing multiple threats. Each
new threat puts additional stress on already weakened ecosystems and

YOUR WHAT CAN YOU DO TO BE MORE ECO-
CONSCIOUS?
Observe. Be more observant to the environment on how it is right now, its

HOW CAN YOU INFLUENCE OTHERS TO DO THE

SAME?
Being an influence is a small to step to bigger change. You can influence
others through mass education by teaching them how to conserve the
environment.

WHAT CAN BE DONE IN YOUR COMMUNITY TO

SOLVE A COMMON ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEM?
Solve it together. As cliche this might sound, it is always better together. If a
single person cannot solve the problem, reach out to anyone and everyone
who is willing to help because that is what makes a community a community.
