This document provides steps for deploying a virtual machine on an EXS server. It outlines selecting an ESXi host, creating a new VM, selecting the datastore, guest OS, hardware configuration, scheduling, and reviewing before deployment. Key points covered include thin versus thick provisioning and the steps to deploy a VM which include selecting a host, VM name, cluster, datastore, compatibility, guest OS, hardware, scheduling, and finishing the wizard. Review questions ask about thin provisioning and the deployment steps.
