He covered the
Spanish civil war
and shot the
famous photo
“Falling soldier”
1938
Went to
Hankow China
to photograph
the Japanese
invasion
Pictured here is
a 15 year old
soldier during
the conflict
1938
Moved to NYC
and worked for
“Life Magazine”
and “Colliers
Weekly”
Took several
rolls of
photographs
but all of the
images were
destroyed
during
development.
Somehow 11
magically
survived.
1950’s
Went to
Japan to
cover the
indochina
war for Life
magazine
1954
Robert Capa Died on may 25th 1954, after leading a life dedicated to informing
others about the horrors of war.
