OBJECTIVE:
 The main objective of this research are:
 1. To get the strong liquid which is not harmful for the environment .
 2.To get the liquid fertilizer from overripe banana.
 3.To make the fertilizer at home made stuffs.

ABSTRACT:
An attempt has been made in this project to use overripe banana in liquid fertilizer
production. Our fore most aim in selecting this project is to use overripe banana for
liquid fertilizer production instead of chemical fertilizer which is becoming scarce and
costly now days. In this project overripe Banana were utilized in making carefully strong
liquid fertilizer. This hand crafted natural compost formula is straightforward and simple
to do. It utilizes just two fixings overripe banana and curd. That is all to kick-start the
development procedure. Banana and banana strips are well off in enhancements, and
they are a bit of comparative enhancements that plants need in order to grow vivaciously.
Nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and a lot of various micronutrients that are accessible
in bananas and its strips will bolster roses and other blooming plants to make more
prominent, magnificent sprouts. Aged banana juice excrement has an enchanting smell
and incredibly doesn't pull in ants, flies, or various bugs when you apply it to your plants.
INTRODUCTION:
What is Fertilizer?
A chemical or natural substance added to soil or land to increase
its fertility.
Liquid organic fertilizer gives plants added nutrients in a faster-
acting form than granular fetilizer.
You can also apply it to foliage, as plants can absorb nutrients
through leaf pores.
Nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and a lot of various
micronutrients that are accessible in bananas and its strips will
bolster roses and other blooming plants to make more prominent,
magnificent sprouts.

METHODOLOGY:
Methods of making organic liquid fertilizer

1. From banana peels.
2. From brown sugar and overripe banana.
3. From curd and overripe banana.
4. From poultry manure.

PROCEDURE
Raw material:
Overripe banana, Brown Sugar , curd , water
Process:
1. First of all we have to collect overripe banana about one dozen from market with
cheapest price.
2. Now we are taking here curd about 1kg in place of curd because of more bacteria
growth.
3. Now bananas are cut into small pieces and add some water for better mixing in the
mixer grinder then add curd in that mixture then again mix it well.
4. Now take out this mixture into one container which is tightly packed and add some
water in it and then put a cotton cloth over the lid of the container and then place a lid of
container for tightening of container and to reduce the flies surrounding it.
5. Now put this mixture over a week and shake it well in the gap of 2 days then again pack
it for better bacterial growth.
6. After 2 week of time period we will find a different layer of fertilizer and slurry.
7. Now take out the sample with the help of sieve having small pore size.

ANALYSIS METHOD:
1. Chemical and microbiological parameter measurement in liquid organic

fertilizer.

ADVANTAGE:
 In nature, decomposition of organic matter creates a natural fertilizer.

 Applying organic compost or well-aged herbivore manure adds nutrient-
rich organic material to the soil, improving quality and texture.
 Adding organic material to the soil increases its ability to hold water;
reduces erosion from water and wind; decreases compaction and crusting of
the soil; and raises soil pH.
 A study at Virginia Tech comparing organic or inorganic fertilizers
determined that organic fertilizer is the better choice. Creating your own
organic fertilizer from leaves, grass clippings, kitchen scraps and yard debris
recycles waste into valuable, no-cost fertilizer.
 Natural fertilizers are less likely to burn tender, young plants as they are less
concentrated than chemical formulas. Natural fertilizers are chemical-free
and can save you money.
DISADVANTAGE:
 Natural fertilizers are slow to break down into the nutrients the growing
garden requires Distribution of nutrients in organic fertilizer varies.
 Organic materials break down at different rates, so the composition and

content of organic fertilizer is never consistent. It is a misconception to
believe that just because a fertilizer is organic, it is automatically safer.
 Organic fertilizer, if you apply it incorrectly, can contribute to surface and

groundwater contamination, create a nutritional imbalance in the soil and
cause salt burns.
APPLICATION:
 As a feed, the forage consists of leaves , which is the most nutritious parts of
the forage plants.
 The waste processing also opens the opportunity to decrease unemployment.
 These products are also developed for potential application in modern

agriculture such as soilless farming systems.
 These bio-fertilizer involves(phosphate solubilising bacteria and plant

growth promoting bacteria) were developed into for formulations of liquid
bio-fertilizers.
CONCLUSION
 To generalize my results to the wider population would be to just say that
when buying fertilizer for plants, do keep in mind the nutrients they contain.
 In conclusion, the nutrients of the fertilizer dramatically affects the growth
of the plant and macronutrients especially phosphorus and potassium will
have a much bigger effect than micronutrients.
