Basic Geometric Figures

Geometry deals with the study of figures in space or plane. A figure represents a real object on a flat, infinite plane. Basic geometric figures include lines like horizontal, vertical and perpendicular lines, as well as angles and their measurements in degrees using a protractor. Angles are formed by two rays with a common endpoint and can be acute, right, obtuse or straight.
