ETHICS AND
HUMANVALUES
WHAT ARE
PROFESSIONAL
ETHICS AND HUMAN
VALUES
HUMAN
VALUES

The values which are considered basic

inherent values in humans include truth,
honesty, loyalty, love, peace, etc. because
they bring out the fundamental goodness of
human beings and society at large
Professional
Ethics

Professional ethics encompass the personal

and corporate standards of behavior
expected by professionals. The word
professionalism originally applied to vows
of a religious order
Morals

Morality is the differentiation of

intentions, decisions and actions
between those that are distinguished as
proper and those that are improper
What ever the decision might be it must not
hurt one or someone should get effected by
it

• Respect. Many parents make the mistake of

teaching their children only about respect for
elders, but that is wrong
• Family. Family is an integral part of kids' lives
• Adjusting and Compromising
• Helping Mentality
• Respecting Religion
• Justice
• Honesty
• Never Hurt Anyone
Values

Values are the motive behind purposeful

action. They are the ends to which we act
and come in many forms. Personal values
are personal beliefs about right and wrong
and may or may not be considered moral.
Cultural values are values accepted by
religions or societies and reflect what is
important in each context.
Integrity

Integrity is the practice of being honest and

showing a consistent and uncompromising
adherence to strong moral and ethical
principles and values. In ethics, integrity is
regarded as the honesty and truthfulness or
accuracy of one's actions
Work Ethics

Work ethic is a belief that hard work and

diligence have a moral benefit and an
inherent ability, virtue or value to strengthen
character and individual abilities. It is a set
of values centered on importance of work
and manifested by determination or desire to
work hard
Service
learning

Service learning is a combination of what we

know as formal education and applying that
learning in a service oriented way. It is a
type of educational philosophy that requires
the student to demonstrate their knowledge,
thus connecting the cognitive to the emotive
and resulting in better learning outcomes
Civic virtue

Civic virtue is the harvesting of habits

important for the success of the community.
Closely linked to the concept of citizenship,
civic virtue is often conceived as the
dedication of citizens to the common welfare
of their community even at the cost of their
individual interests.
Respect For
others

Receiving respect from others is important

because it helps us to feel safe and to express
ourselves. ... Respect means that you accept
somebody for who they are, even when
they're different from you or you don't agree
with them. Respect in your relationships
builds feelings of trust, safety, and wellbeing
Living
Peacefully

Living in peace is about living harmoniously

with yourself, others, and all sentient beings
around you. Living in peace is both an
outward and an inward process. Outwardly,
it's a way of life in which we respect and
love each other in spite of our cultural,
religious, and political differences
Caring &
Sharing

You share food with another person because

you don't want that person to get hungry.
You care enough to give that person food
because you don't want that person to get
hungry. Sharing is caring means that if you
share with that person, you actually care for
the person. For example, food.
Spirituality

Spirituality is a broad concept with room for

many perspectives. In general, it includes a
sense of connection to something bigger
than ourselves, and it typically involves a
search for meaning in life. As such, it is a
universal human experience—something
that touches us all
CONCLUSION
I Personally feel one should
know the purpose of being on
the quantum real of earth and
should always try to help
others. In order to make this
earth a better place to live.
