Continuing Professional Development

CPD is necessary for professional teachers to maintain and sustain professional growth and advancement according to relevant laws and policies. The CPD Act of 2016 mandates CPD for all regulated professions including teaching. Under the Act and related policies, teachers must complete a certain number of CPD credit units every period through various tracks such as professional training, academic studies, self-directed learning, and productive scholarship. Developing a personal CPD plan helps teachers enhance competencies purposefully.
