CANADA TRADITIONS
• Canadian culture is strongly influenced by the various conquerors who have reached their
lands: French and British. These conquerors added the influences of their own cultures
indigenous cultures in the country.
HALLOWEEN
• Another celebration that Canadians love is the Day of the Witches. It is celebrated on
October 31.
• Children, youth, adults, seniors and even pets dress up and go out to ask for treats. The
custom is to ring the bell of a house and say trick or treat (sweet or mischief) the owner of
the house. If you do not get sweets, you have the right to make mischief Home!
TRADITIONS OF NEW ZEALAND
• Traditional celebrations of New Zealand. New Zealand culture is the result of the mix of Maori
and European traditions, heavily influenced by the United Kingdom, and New Zealand is a
member of the Commonwealth. As latent symbol of their respect for the history of the country,
the official languages are English and Maori.
