CANADA TRADITIONS

• Canadian culture is strongly influenced by the various conquerors who have reached their
lands: French and British. These conquerors added the influences of their own cultures
indigenous cultures in the country.
HALLOWEEN

• Another celebration that Canadians love is the Day of the Witches. It is celebrated on
October 31.
• Children, youth, adults, seniors and even pets dress up and go out to ask for treats. The
custom is to ring the bell of a house and say trick or treat (sweet or mischief) the owner of
the house. If you do not get sweets, you have the right to make mischief Home!

• Traditional celebrations of New Zealand. New Zealand culture is the result of the mix of Maori
