    What is proposed is a pool that functions as an ecosystem that maintains

    A system of plants, fish and microorganisms


    that together work to keep the water crystal
    clear and full of life.

    Free of harmful chemicals
    Low in maintenance cost
    Has no cost of operation
    Sustainable and eco-friendly

    Absolutely!
    HOW?
    I Have duly done some research and consulted experts about the idea.
    I shall briefly explain the science behind the system.
    HOW THE WATER QUALITY IS

    ECOSYSTEM APPROACH
    LIMNOLOGISTS
    These are some of my crude understandings of the system.
    However, there are experts who deal especially with fresh water ecosystems called
    limnologists who can help us realize the idea.
    DR. EZILI NATARAJAN
    I consulted Dr. Ezhili Natarajan who is a Professor, Environmentalist
    and limnologist.
    She has published several research papers on the pollution, restoration and treatment
    of lakes of Coimbatore in International journals.
    She also consults for the government for the restoration projects of the lakes
    in Coimbatore that are based on her research.

    MR. P. VINCENT
    Mr. P Vincent is a freelancing environmentalist.
    He is an expert in rapid afforestation technology using microbes and bioremedial
    treatment of water bodies.
    His notable projects:
     Protection of river bank using “vettiver” system in West Bengal. A government funded
    project that is protecting the 700 km long banks of the river Hubli from soil
    erosion.
     Several rapid afforestation projects in Coimbatore.
