Causitives

Activities that you do you by yourself or other person is going to realize for you

Present Simple Causitives
• In present simple causitive we need to use : Have and get
• But we need to remind that when you use ‘’ he – she –it ‘’ the verbs are going to
change
• Examples:
• I , YOU WE , THEY = Have
• He , She ,It = Has
• Example:
• I , YOU WE , THEY = Get
• He , she ,It = Gets
Besides we need to put the possesives adjectives according to the personal
pronoun :
Example : I – My / You - Your / He – His / - She – Her / it – its / We – Our /
They – their /
Present Simple Causitives
In this category and in other tenses we need to use the verbs in past participle (
3rd column ) – Regular and Irregular at the end of the sentences
• Example
• Subject + Have / get + Object Verb in past Participle
• I have/ get my ruler lost
• You have / get Your computer Fixed
• He has / gets his cellphone broken
• She has / gets her car bought
• It has / gets its fruits eaten
• We have / get our house cleaned
• They have / get Their tables painted
Present Continuous or Progressive Causitives
• In this category and in other tenses we need to use the verbs in past
participle ( 3rd column ) – Regular and Irregular at the end of the sentences
• Example
• Subject + Be + Have / get ( ing) + Object Verb in past Participle
• I am having/ getting my ruler lost
• You are having / getting Your computer Fixed
• He is having / getting his cellphone broken
• She is having / getting her car bought
• It is having / getting its fruits eaten
• We are having /getting our house cleaned
• They are having / getting Their tables painted

• In this category and in other tenses we need to use the verbs in past
