WHAT IS LINE CHARTS ?
A line chart or line graph is a type of graph ,which
displays information as a series of data points
connected by straight line segment. A line chart is
often used to visualize a trend in data over
intervals of time, thus the the line, is often drawn
chronologically. Line graph compare two variables.
Each variables is plotted an axis. A line graph has a
vertical axis and a horizontal axis . It has certain
characteristics that makes it useful in certain
situations.
Advantages of line charts
1. They are good at showing specific values of
data, meaning that given one variable the
other can easily be determined.
2. They show trends in data clearly, meaning
that they visibly show how one variable is
affected by the others as it increases or
decrease.
3. They enables the viewer to make predictions
about the results of data not yet recorded
