 Business activities: Original Kayak Adventure is a multipurpose
company involved in three main areas namely rentals, instruction and
tour guide. The company has been in business for over two years and
have a wealth of experience in the instruction and tour business.

 Organization: OKA includes John that gives lessons and guided tour
groups. Edie who runs the office and operates her Web design
business, and handles rentals. Janet Jacobs is an extra help
sometimes, to handles telephone inquiries and reservations.
Availability between guided tours and instruction sessions need more
attention.

 Resources: Advertises in regional magazines and maintains a Web


site.
 Customers: Most of the customers make advance reservations for
scheduled tours and instruction sessions. Last-minute customers are
welcome too, if space available.

 Potential opportunity to engage in e-commerce: Making reservation


information available online to last-minute costumers, and offer
special discounts on renting. An updating in the system for database
