U-I 2.procedure For Analysis and Design Examples

The document outlines the 5 step procedure for analyzing a transistor circuit: 1) Draw the actual circuit diagram, 2) Replace coupling and bypass capacitors with short circuits, 3) Replace DC voltage sources with short circuits, 4) Mark the base, collector, and emitter points and locate as the start of the equivalent circuit, 5) Replace the transistor with its hybrid equivalent model or re model and proceed with the analysis.

Procedure for analysis of transistor circuit

Steps to follow for analysis of Transistor Amplifier Circuit :

• Draw the actual circuit diagram.
• Replace each of the coupling capacitors and bypass capacitors by a short circuit.
• Replace the DC voltage sources by a short circuit.
• Mark the points B(Base), C( Collector), E (Emitter) on the circuit diagram and
locate these points as the start of the equivalent circuit.
• Finally, replace the transistor by its hybrid equivalent model or re model and
proceed with the analysis.
